Day 16 - Refining the Tutorial Content

Today, I reached an important milestone in my project by completing the first draft of the tutorial content for the Postgres extension development guide. The tutorial aims to provide a comprehensive and practical resource for developers seeking to dive into the world of extension development. With this initial version in place, I am now shifting my focus towards gathering insights from third-party sources.

Over the next few days, I will thoroughly explore various third-party sites and resources related to Postgres extension development. The objective is twofold: to understand the existing landscape of tutorials and examples available and to identify any gaps or areas that can be improved upon in my project.

By delving into these external resources, I hope to gain valuable insights into what other developers have shared, their experiences, and the challenges they encountered. This information will serve as a foundation for enhancing and refining the tutorial content, ensuring it addresses not only the core concepts but also covers additional topics and considerations that may have been overlooked in existing resources.

While I have faced some time constraints recently, I am determined to allocate more dedicated time to this project starting tomorrow. This will enable me to thoroughly research the third-party sites, gather insights, and incorporate them into my project effectively.

Once this phase is complete, I will be ready to present my proposal and the tutorial content to my mentors. Their feedback and their input will ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and usefulness.

From May 29 onwards, I plan to adopt a more structured approach to this project, setting clear timelines and goals. This will allow for better organization and progress tracking, ensuring that each aspect of the tutorial is developed and refined systematically.
