I had the opportunity to meet with my project mentors and it was an eye-opening experience. We discussed the project timeline and deliverables, and I got a much-needed reality check. The project is more significant than I initially anticipated and will probably take two to three months of work to complete. While this may seem daunting, I am excited about the challenge and eager to dive into the project.

There is a slight possibility of extending the project's due date, which I will decide on halfway through the project and have a discussion with the mentors.

But the most exciting part of the meeting was hearing about my mentor's Open Source journey. It was truly inspiring to hear about their experience working collaboratively and contributing to a larger project. The concept of Open Source is different from the traditional approach to work, sounds fun.

I also attended the Gsoc Intro meeting, where I had the opportunity to gain more insight into the program. I am looking forward to an exciting summer, and I hope to complete this project successfully.
